OUR STORY

The Cozy Side was established in 2018 by owner/creator Jacee Beck. At the time she was pregnant with babies 3 & 4 and was on the hunt for beautiful, unique crib blankets unlike any you could find in store! After coming up empty handed, she decided to sew them herself! Through a lot of trial and error, she came up with two uniquely, beautiful blankets to bring her twin girls home with! Shortly after bringing the girls home, she began receiving requests from friends and family, who wanted to order a blanket for themselves! Fast forward to sewing baby blankets at her kitchen table for 3 years, now it was time to GROW!

In January of 2021, her good friend and travel buddy, Kylee Younce stepped in as Co-Owner of The Cozy Side. Kylee was a former teacher turned stay at home mom who was looking for a business opportunity to spend her time on when her kids were in school. Once Kylee came on board, they hit the ground running. They moved the shop out of Jacee’s home and opened a warehouse to operate out of in Grand Rapids, MI. They also hired a team of local seamstresses so they were able to offer ready to ship blankets, something they hadn’t been able to do in the past.

They have created a loyal, fluffy community spanning across all 50 states. Each blanket is proudly designed, created and shipped right out of West Michigan. You will notice that their verbiage and blanket sizes are a play on both of their names ending in EE.
